We are looking for a production sewer/machine operator/seamstress with expertise in intimate apparel and lingerie for a fashion company in Irvine, California. This position will be on site in our Irvine location. Key Responsibilities: • Operating Sewing Machines: Using industrial sewing machines to stitch fabric pieces together according to patterns and specifications. • Quality Control: Inspecting finished products for defects and ensuring they meet quality standards. • Production Efficiency: Working efficiently to meet production targets and deadlines. • Material Handling: Receiving, organizing, and preparing materials for sewing, including cutting and trimming fabric. • Machine Maintenance: Performing minor maintenance on sewing machines, such as oiling and cleaning. • Following Instructions: Adhering to production schedules, quality control procedures, and safety protocols. • Collaboration: Working as part of a team to ensure smooth production flow. • Sample Making: Creating samples based on design specifications and patterns. • Other Duties: May include tasks such as assembling products, packing, and shipping, creation of proto samples and mock-ups Required Qualifications: • Sewing Skills: Proficiency in operating various types of sewing machines and performing different sewing techniques. • Attention to Detail: The ability to identify and correct defects in products. • Physical Stamina: The ability to stand and work for extended periods. • Teamwork: The ability to work effectively with others in a production environment. • Must have intimate apparel including lingerie, bra and panty experience • Availability to work onsite 5 days a week, at Irvine location • 3-5+ years of sample making and/or production sewing experience About Our Company: We are a start-up intimate apparel company who is looking for amazing people to join our growing team!
