We are seeking a California-licensed attorney to assist with a limited scope filing in a federal ADA lawsuit involving a commercial landlord (LLC) in the U.S. District Court, Central District of California (CDCA). Background: The defendant is an LLC, a property holding company. The case concerns alleged ADA violations at a commercial property leased to a tenant. The tenant has already defaulted, and Plaintiff is now pursuing the landlord. Our team has compiled all filings and drafted motions, including both a Motion to Quash service and a Motion to Dismiss based on lack of landlord liability. What We Need: - Legal review of the current filings and facts - Advice on the best strategy (whether to move to quash, dismiss, or otherwise) - Filing the appropriate motion with the court on behalf of the LLC - Optional: limited follow-up advice depending on the outcome Ideal Qualifications: - Licensed in California and preferably admitted in CDCA - Based in or near Los Angeles - Comfortable with limited-scope or freelance work - Prior experience with federal litigation or ADA defense is a plus Compensation: Please include your flat rate or hourly rate (we are seeking a cost-conscious solution) Timeline: filing ideally asap.
