The ASP.Net Developer with Oracle DB Experience will be responsible for maintaining and supporting our current ASP.NET application and Oracle database, as well as recommending and implementing a cloud-based identity management solution. This role requires a deep understanding of ASP.NET development, Oracle database management, and cloud technologies. Key Responsibilities: - Current System Support: - Evaluate and maintain the existing ASP.NET application and Oracle database. - Provide ongoing support for bug fixes, performance optimization, and security updates. - Document the current system architecture, codebase, database schema, and user workflows. - Cloud Transition: Gather requirements and identify goals for the new cloud-based identity management system. - Recommend suitable cloud providers (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) based on their identity management offerings. - Design the architecture for the new system, ensuring scalability, security, and integration capabilities. - Develop and implement the new system using cloud-based identity management solutions. - Plan and execute data migration from the Oracle database to the new cloud-based system, ensuring data integrity and security. - Conduct thorough testing, including performance, security, and user acceptance testing. - Provide training and support for staff and users on the new system. Qualifications: - Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred. Experience: - Minimum of 5 years of experience in ASP.NET development and Oracle database management. - Proven experience with designing and implementing cloud-based solutions (AWS IAM, Azure AD, etc.). - Strong background in data migration and integration strategies. Skills: - Proficiency in ASP.NET, Oracle, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. - Strong communication and documentation skills. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team. - Project management skills and experience in leading transition projects. Preferred Qualifications: - Certifications in cloud technologies (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, etc.). - Experience in higher education or public sector projects. - Familiarity with security standards and compliance requirements.
