We're seeking a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to deliver a 3-day, live remote training on Underwater ROV (Remotely Operated Vehicle) Handling and Operations. The training is designed for beginner to intermediate-level marine engineers, technicians, and offshore personnel. Training Overview: Format: Live remote (via Zoom or similar) Duration: 3 full days Daily Schedule: 6 hours of instruction + 1 hour of breaks Dates: Flexible (based on trainer and client availability) Audience: Small group of offshore/marine professionals Topics to Cover: Introduction to ROVs: history, types, and applications Components & systems: electronics, control systems, architecture Navigation & communication underwater ROV piloting basics & advanced maneuvers Maintenance & troubleshooting Deployment, safety, and emergency protocols Final assessment (written + practical, if feasible) Requirements: Hands-on experience with ROV operations Experience creating and delivering technical training content Strong instructional or facilitation skills Ability to conduct training in an applied, interactive format Visual tools or simulators to support learning are a plus Important Notes: Trainer must create their own training materials, but these will remain your intellectual property We do not provide additional compensation for content creation Recording of the training sessions is not permitted If this sounds like a fit, please include a brief summary of your ROV experience, training background, and your availability for the training window.
