As well as the basic pay there will be a bonus of 20% of whatever you bring in beyond the initial $500. I run online summits for quilters that average about 7k attendees. My next event starts July 1 (registration opens June 1) and I need sponsors to sponsor the event. I have an extensive list of sponsors to approach and some I have worked with in the past who are already "warm". I need this person to follow up on warm leads, agree terms and get payment. You will need to gain a basic understanding of what quilting is (not knitting) and the audience I serve (average age 67). I have a list of options for sponsorship but am open to changing it or going bespoke. You will need to: - be very comfortable approaching people for money and talking to them on the phone or on video calls. - have experience approaching people for sponsorship or in fundraising or in b2b sales - have excellent spoken and written english and be confident in person. - be able to retain a basic understanding of what quilting is, the types of products and services quilters are interested in, and who they tend to be (I will spend 30 mins telling you all of this - you just need to remember it) - present yourself to potential sponsors as a professional - have sufficient availability to get on calls with people at some point during 9am-5pm Mon-Fri as needed - be comfortable persuading people who only wish to sponsor with donation of material goods to also add a paid sponsorship element. The $500 for this role is intended to be thought of as $20/hour x 25 hours. The bonus is to incentivize success and will begin as soon as you have raised (and I have received payment for) $500 of sponsorship. e.g. if you raise $499 you will not receive a bonus. If you raise $501 you will receive $100.20 (20%). If you raise $5000 you will receive $1000 etc. Where a donation of materials is received the bonus will be 10% of the value of the materials. My sponsorship goal is $15,000. The majority of the work will need to be done immediately, during May. I have begun outreach in Mailead (https://www.mailead.io/) which I can give you access to or you can use your own tools. No additional money is available for additional paid tools. I like to give you time and space to get on with your work while also checking in on progress regularly. For instance, after our initial briefing, you can send me an update of who you have been in touch with every 2-3 working days. We will meet via video conference as needed to stay aligned. I will be generally available to answer questions via text and email in between our calls. If this goes well there is potential for us to continue working together on future events.
