We are a busy, high-volume bookkeeping firm supporting 80–100 e-commerce businesses each month. While our in-house team manages the day-to-day bookkeeping, we are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeping Reviewer to ensure accuracy and quality across all client files before delivery. Role Overview: You will be responsible for performing QA reviews on monthly bookkeeping files prepared by our team of four in-house bookkeepers. Your goal is to flag errors, suggest corrections, and ensure that each account is accurate, complete, and ready for client delivery. Responsibilities: - Review 80+ monthly bookkeeping files for accuracy and completeness - Identify and correct errors related to sales, categorization, vendor entries, and reconciliations - Verify balances on payroll clearing accounts, loan accounts, and third-party payment processors such as PayPal and Stripe - Ensure transactions are properly categorized and vendor names are consistently applied - Review sales across multiple platforms to confirm data integrity - Provide respectful and constructive feedback to bookkeepers - Work within platforms such as QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, ShareFile, and Asana Time Commitment: - 30–40 hours per month - Majority of the work is concentrated during the 3rd and 4th weeks of each month - Must be reliable and available during month-end deadlines Qualifications: - Minimum of 3 years experience in bookkeeping or accounting - Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online - Experience with e-commerce bookkeeping and multi-platform sales data - Ability to review and manage the work of multiple bookkeepers - Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills - Familiarity with Asana, ShareFile, QBO, and QBD preferred We're seeking someone who can dedicate approximately 4 hours per day between 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM EST.
