We’re looking for a detail-oriented, creative, and proactive Events & Design Coordinator to help us execute high-impact conferences, dinners, and community-building events. This person will also support digital design needs for event marketing and brand storytelling. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate logistics for upcoming events (e.g., conferences, private dinners, panels), including venue sourcing, guest lists, catering, and run-of-show Serve as the main point of contact for vendors, speakers, and hosts Design digital assets for event promotion, including social graphics, signage, and invitations (Canva or Adobe Suite) Manage RSVPs, track budgets, and ensure smooth on-site execution Collaborate with marketing and leadership to ensure each event aligns with the Build brand and mission Support post-event follow-up, photo collection, and reporting Ideal Candidate: 2+ years experience in event coordination, project management, or operations Strong design skills using tools like Canva, Adobe Illustrator, or similar Excellent communication and organizational skills Passion for community-building and supporting immigrant talent Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced startup environment Bonus: Experience with email marketing tools (e.g., Mailchimp) or social media promotion Prior involvement in mission-driven or nonprofit work
