We’re looking for an experienced video and audio editor to help us create sleek, professional, and engaging content from our remotely recorded podcast and video interviews. Your role will be to transform our raw footage into polished, high-quality clips that captivate our audience. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Edit long-form podcast and video recordings into professional, polished episodes • Create short-form, high-impact clips for social media (YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.) • Enhance audio quality, removing background noise, adjusting levels, and ensuring clarity • Add visual elements such as graphics, captions, transitions, and subtle visual effects to enhance engagement • Sync audio and video seamlessly, resulting in smooth, natural pacing • Optimize content for multiple platforms, adjusting aspect ratios and layouts as needed • Maintain a consistent visual and auditory style across all episodes and clips IDEALLY YOU HAVE: • Proven experience editing podcasts and video content (please share samples of your work) • Strong audio editing skills (removing echo, noise reduction, EQ balancing, etc.) • Proficiency in video editing software • Experience with visual branding (basic motion graphics, templates, captions, and overlays) • Attention to detail – we want polished, professional content with seamless cuts and transitions • Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality edits on a timely basis • Familiarity with social media trends for short-form content is a plus • Experience working with remote recordings and multi-camera setups • Knowledge of AI-enhanced editing tools or automation workflows • Understanding of SEO for video content If you have a keen eye for detail, a passion for storytelling, and the ability to make remote recordings feel high-end, we’d love to work with you!
