We're seeking an experienced science or technical writer to help us transform our customers’ peer-reviewed published research into accessible, engaging case studies for marketing and educational purposes. Our company provides advanced optical instruments, including hyperspectral imaging systems, reflectometers, and emissometers, used in fields like aerospace, agriculture, materials science, and biomedical research. You will be provided with: - Links to published journal articles that mention or use our equipment. - Product information and application notes for reference. - Guidelines and examples of past case studies. Your job will be to: - Read and understand the published research. - Distill the technical findings and methods into clear, concise summaries. - Highlight how our instruments enabled or enhanced the research. Write compelling case studies (400–800 words) tailored for blog and website use, often including a short SEO meta description and optional social media blurb. Ideal candidate qualifications: - Experience writing for a scientific, engineering, or technical audience. - Ability to simplify complex concepts without losing accuracy. - Familiarity with spectroscopy, imaging, or similar instrumentation is a plus. Excellent written English and attention to detail. Project Scope: - Ongoing work with ~1–2 case studies per month. We’re looking to build a long-term relationship with a writer who can grow familiar with our voice and product suite.
