Salesforce Custom App Build with Flow Automation (Contract)

Project Overview We are seeking a Salesforce Consultant to assist with the build-out of a custom, object-based application inside our Salesforce environment. The goal is to replace spreadsheet-driven resource forecasting with a structured, flow-driven solution that integrates with our time tracking software. This role will focus on standing up the technical infrastructure while ensuring that our internal team retains full ownership of all components. The solution must be maintainable by our internal admins, with no dependencies on managed packages or proprietary third-party architecture. Scope Summary (for Quote & Estimation) Custom Objects to Build: 7 total Project__c, Project_Phase__c, Forecast_Line__c, Budget_Line__c, Time_Entry__c, Role__c, Employee__c ~10–15 fields per object (lookups, picklists, formulas, numbers, dates) Flows to Build: 5 total Auto-name Project, Send PIC to external system, Time import sync, Auto-close project, Validation/data quality flows Reporting Requirements: Forecast vs Actual by Role/Phase, Utilization tracking, Hiring triggers Constraints: Declarative-only (no Apex), no managed packages, must be maintainable by internal admins Key Responsibilities Translate business requirements into a clean, declarative Salesforce data model Build scalable Flows (e.g., project naming, PIC sync, time import) Integrate our time tracking software using Salesforce Data Cloud Configure layouts and user-facing tools for project managers and project controls Develop dashboards for forecasting, utilization, and performance tracking Deliver documentation and admin-level training to support internal ownership What We're Looking For 3+ years of Salesforce experience focused on declarative solutions Proven track record with Flow (record-triggered, before-save, scheduled) Experience with project-based business models and time tracking systems Familiarity with Salesforce Data Cloud Salesforce Admin certification required; Advanced Admin or Platform App Builder preferred Important Notes This is a consulting build — we are not seeking a managed service Consultant will not own the system post-deployment — our internal team will All components must be low-code and admin-maintainable No Apex, no managed packages, no technical debt Deliverables Declarative custom Salesforce app (objects, fields, Flows, reports) Integration points with external time tracking system Forecasting and utilization dashboards Documentation and knowledge transfer Support during initial testing and rollout
