We’re looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support ongoing HR and benefits operations for a fast-paced team. This part-time, remote position (approx. 15 hours per week) involves recurring administrative work tied to payroll cycles, employee benefits, and internal reporting. You’ll be working directly with a senior HR leader to ensure weekly and monthly processes are completed accurately and on time. Most work is structured and deadline-driven, making it ideal for someone who thrives with routine and takes pride in accuracy and follow-through. Key Responsibilities: • Provide administrative support for payroll-adjacent activities and benefits processing • Assist with vendor communications, internal reports, and recurring reconciliations • Help maintain data accuracy and compliance in HR systems • Support process documentation and improvements as needed What We’re Looking For: • Experience in HR, benefits administration, finance, or payroll support • High level of accuracy and discretion with confidential information • Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets • Dependable, self-directed, and responsive to deadlines • Strong communication and organizational skills Nice to Have: • Familiarity with COBRA, 401(k) processing, or third-party benefits platforms • Experience supporting union or multi-site payroll functions
