We are seeking an experienced front-end developer with strong expertise in Laravel, Tailwind CSS, and web performance optimization to help us reduce Cumulative Layout Shift (CLS) issues on our website. Our site uses Tailwind, Alpine.js, and custom Blade templates, and we’re specifically looking for someone who can: Analyze and diagnose CLS issues using Chrome DevTools and Lighthouse/Web Vitals. Optimize our responsive background SVG (used behind a video and other content) so that it scales correctly across mobile and desktop without causing layout shifts. Adjust CSS transitions (using Alpine.js) to ensure dynamic elements have reserved space, minimizing unexpected shifts. Implement responsive design fixes (e.g., responsive min-heights and aspect ratio containers) so that our layout remains stable across breakpoints. Review and improve script loading by deferring non-critical JavaScript (such as jQuery and jQuery Migrate) to reduce render-blocking. Work within our existing codebase (Blade templates) and follow our design guidelines to ensure the final output meets our performance targets.
