Freeman Human Resource Management is seeking an HR Coordinator to join our team on a contract basis. In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for clients, assisting with HR tasks such as policy development, employee relations support, document drafting, CRM management, and client communications. This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-oriented HR professional looking for a flexible, part-time remote role (Monday-Friday, 11am-3pm Pacific Time). Key Responsibilities • Serve as the first point of contact for clients, providing guidance on HR-related matters. • Assist in developing and reviewing HR policies, employee handbooks, and compliance updates. • Draft HR documents such as job descriptions, onboarding guides, and performance evaluation templates. • Maintain and organize client records while ensuring confidentiality. • Monitor compliance with employment laws and alert the team to necessary changes. • Assist in client marketing campaigns and coordinate onboarding activities. • Manage CRM and HR email inbox, responding to inquiries and dispatching messages appropriately. • Develop and design monthly HR newsletters. • Conduct periodic audits of HR files to ensure accuracy and completeness. • Support special projects and provide research on HR trends and best practices. Experience and Education We’re Looking For • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field. • At least 2 years of experience in HR administration, coordination, or a similar role. • Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and compliance requirements. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. • Experience with Canva (or similar design tools) for marketing materials. • Familiarity with CRM, HRIS, or other productivity software is a plus. • Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills. • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment.
