SharePoint Consultant / Developer – Marketing Agency Support We are seeking a knowledgeable and solutions-driven SharePoint Consultant / Developer to guide our small but fast-moving marketing agency through a full transition from Dropbox to SharePoint. This role is ideal for a SharePoint expert who understands file migration, site design, and user experience—and who can build efficient, intuitive tools that support marketing operations, client service, and internal collaboration. Responsibilities: Migration & Setup Lead the transition of all active and archived Dropbox files to SharePoint and OneDrive, ensuring data integrity, logical structure, and security throughout the process. Configure SharePoint permissions, user access roles, and organizational standards that align with our remote and cross-functional team. Site Design & Development Design and build a user-friendly SharePoint site for the company, with branded templates and layouts. Create client-specific dashboards/pages to organize contracts, deliverables, and communications in one place. Build team-wide dashboards and resource centers for easy access to proposal templates, marketing collateral, process documents, and training materials. Develop contract and file management systems with quick search, version control, and tagging capabilities. Process Optimization & Tools Integration Recommend and implement SharePoint features that enhance agency operations (e.g., task lists, calendars, automated workflows, integration with Teams or Power Automate). Identify efficiencies across teams (project management, creative, admin, etc.) and tailor SharePoint functionality to support each group. Training & Support Provide training for team members to ensure successful adoption and use of the new system. Offer ongoing support or documentation for file management best practices, content structure, and SharePoint use cases tailored to agency work. Ideal Qualifications: Proven experience with SharePoint site development and file migrations from Dropbox or similar cloud platforms. Strong understanding of SharePoint permissions, metadata, and file lifecycle management. Familiarity with tools often used by marketing and creative teams, including Microsoft Teams, Office, and Adobe tools. Ability to translate marketing workflows into efficient digital systems and dashboards. Experience with SharePoint integrations (Power Automate, Power BI, etc.) is a plus. Excellent communication and training skills for a small, collaborative team.
