I’m launching a single-item e-commerce apparel store that appeals to those who appreciate durability and quality. I need an experienced All-In-One E-commerce Brand Project Manager and Integrator to build and scale this apparel brand from the ground up. You’ll be the backbone of the business, managing all aspects of setup, operations, and growth, while I provide strategic direction and support. I’m only looking for the best talent—someone willing and able to maintain consistent pressure on building this business and follow through with the completion of getting the product and brand to market. You don’t need expertise in every area, but you must be a world-class delegator who knows how to work with others to achieve success. I’m willing to pay for top-tier expertise to ensure success. Responsibilities: Develop and execute a plan to launch and scale the e-commerce apparel brand, including branding, website setup, and marketing strategies aligned with a slightly tougher aesthetic and playful tone. Source and stock a specific apparel item I have in mind, ensuring it meets durability and quality standards through reliable suppliers. Work with overseas quality control checkers to ensure the sourced apparel item is top-notch, meeting the brand’s high standards for durability and craftsmanship. Collaborate with packaging designers to create custom, paper-based, recyclable packaging that aligns with the brand’s aesthetic and sustainability goals. Oversee the building of a fully functional e-commerce website (e.g., on Shopify or similar platforms), delegating tasks like design, development, and optimization to freelancers for a seamless shopping experience. Coordinate marketing efforts (SEO, PPC, social media, email) by hiring and managing freelancers to drive traffic, build a customer base, and achieve viral growth for a single-item apparel store. Manage order fulfillment, including logistics, shipping, and customer service, by delegating to specialists as needed to ensure efficient operations for a growing brand. Hire and coordinate with freelancers (e.g., designers, marketers, developers, logistics experts) to fulfill the brand vision, managing their work to meet project goals. Monitor performance metrics, optimize strategies, and scale the business while maintaining quality and brand consistency. Provide regular updates and collaborate with me to align on strategic direction and goals. Qualifications: Proven experience building an e-commerce brand from scratch, ideally a single-item or apparel store. Demonstrated ability to source specific apparel products through reliable suppliers, ensuring they match the brand’s vision for quality and style. Experience working with overseas quality control checkers to ensure products meet high standards of durability and craftsmanship. Ability to collaborate with packaging designers to create custom, paper-based, recyclable packaging that reflects the brand’s identity. World-class delegation skills, with a proven track record of working with freelancers or teams to achieve success across website development, marketing, and operations. Strong project management skills, with a proactive, results-driven mindset to scale a business. Commitment to maintaining consistent pressure on building the business and following through to get the product and brand to market successfully. Alignment with the brand’s slightly tougher aesthetic and playful marketing style (think Dr. Squatch but less gender-specific).
