The Opportunity: One of our current projects is a bespoke HR system built with a robust Laravel backend and Vue.js frontend. We are developing the system for both web and mobile platforms - and we're now looking for a skilled and proactive freelance developer who will play a crucial role in bringing this project to life. Your initial focus will be to gain an understanding of the existing HR codebase, and then you will begin to work on the front-end look and back-end functionality, expanding its capabilities to ensure that we launch a high quality, scalable product across multiple platforms - we ultimately want our product to provide a seamless user experience for our users. Moving forward, there is potential for other work supporting a number of our client projects. This will require someone who is responsive and available to develop, troubleshoot, debug and modify applications on an as needed basis. HR Overview: The HR system is designed to streamline various HR processes, including: Employee Management: Centralised database for employee records. Leave Management: System for employees to request and track leave, with automated approval workflows and calendar integrations. Onboarding/Offboarding: Guided processes for new hires and departing employees. Reporting & Analytics: Generation of insightful reports on key HR metrics. Your Responsibilities Will Include: Gaining a thorough understanding of the existing codebase. Collaborating closely with the team to implement, test and deliver high quality new features and functionalities for the web application. Contributing to the planning and architecture of the mobile application. Writing clean, well-documented, and efficient code. Participating in code reviews and providing constructive feedback. Troubleshooting and debugging issues. Potentially collaborating in the future development and maintenance of the entire HR system. Required Skills & Experience: Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer. Strong proficiency in Laravel (PHP framework) and the PHP ecosystem. Solid understanding and practical experience with Vue.js (JavaScript framework). Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and collaboration abilities. Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively. We are looking to onboard the right person as soon as possible.
