Podcast Producer & Audio Engineer (Part-Time, Hybrid)


We are seeking an experienced Podcast Producer/Audio Engineer to support us in producing a professional podcast focused on benefits, HR innovation, wellness, etc.. Our show features expert guests and compelling conversations, reaching a diverse and engaged audience. We believe in high-quality storytelling, clear audio, and thoughtful post-production. This role is ideal for someone who loves audio storytelling, understands technical production, and is excited to collaborate with a creative team. You’ll be responsible for managing the full podcast lifecycle—from booking guests and coordinating logistics, to recording, editing, and publishing episodes. You’ll report directly to the Marketing Director and help shape the voice and quality of our podcast. Scope of Work: Pre-Production (Remote) • Coordinate with host to book guests and manage the production schedule • Handle all logistics for each recording session, including equipment setup details and recording links • Maintain clear communication with team and guests Recording Sessions (In-Person, Culver City, CA) • Arrive 1 hour early to set up: • Shure MV7 microphones • Focusrite audio interface • Capture video using iPhone and Insta360 (tripod provided) • Riverside + AI webcam (for remote guests) • Record audio and video simultaneously • Use Pro Tools / GarageBand for in-person audio Post-Production (Remote) 1. Deliver raw audio/video files to the editor within 48 hours 2. Share an edited draft (audio + video) 3. Manage final edits and quality assurance 4. Select 3–4 short clips per episode for YouTube Reels • Review captions • Submit final clips to Marketing Director for approval 5. Work with the Marketing Director to finalize: • Title • Description • Thumbnail • Release date 6. Schedule and publish the episode via: • Spotify for Podcasters • YouTube (full episode + Reels) Role Requirements: Estimated 2 episodes per month • Hybrid (remote + in-person in Culver City, CA) • Flexible schedule, but must meet key production deadlines • Must have access to personal editing software and a strong internet connection for remote work Proven experience with podcast/audio production • Proficient in editing software (e.g., Pro Tools, Audacity, GarageBand) • Familiar with Riverside.fm, YouTube uploads, and podcast distribution platforms • Strong communication and time management skills • Experience handling audio/video files, social clips, and metadata • Creative mindset with a passion for storytelling To Apply please include: • Portfolio or samples of podcast/audio work • Your availability for a quick intro call
