We are hiring a contract lawyer or business attorney to finalize a consulting agreement between our firm and a U.S.-based client in the creative production industry. The agreement will govern a strategic advisory relationship, including business restructuring and operational oversight. You will not be drafting from scratch — we will provide structured templates and a clear outline of all required sections. However, we welcome and encourage improvements to strengthen the legal enforceability of the document, especially under Florida law, which will govern the agreement. This is a private, fixed-scope engagement. Company name, client name, and agreement details will be shared only after selection. What We Need: Adaptation and finalization of a consulting services agreement, including: Scope of work and role of the consultant Term, renewal, and early termination Monthly flat-fee payment terms and reimbursement handling Confidentiality, non-disclosure, and IP protection Independent contractor status Dispute resolution, jurisdiction (Florida), and governing law Limitation of liability and force majeure Third-party specialist involvement (if needed) You Will Be Provided With: Our internal template(s) and preferred clause structure A summary of the project and services being formalized Notes on key clauses already drafted and areas needing enhancement Your Role: Review and refine the draft to ensure it is legally sound and enforceable under Florida law Strengthen or propose additional clauses where necessary to reinforce the consulting relationship and protect our firm Keep the language professional, enforceable, and aligned with best practices Requirements: Licensed attorney or senior legal professional Strong knowledge of Florida business contract law At least 5 years of experience drafting consulting or B2B service agreements Comfortable working under NDA and maintaining client confidentiality Detail-oriented, with a practical, business-first mindset Preferred (but not required): Experience with creative industries or international client agreements Familiarity with IP clauses and contractor structures Engagement Terms: Fixed project fee (please submit your rate) Must be able to start within 10–15 business days Draft will be reviewed and signed via DocuSign Full confidentiality is expected and required
