Our goal is to create videos that feel like a chat with a friend: engaging, informative, and oh-so relatable. Each video will blend personal anecdotes with educational takeaways, delivering beauty and wellness tips in a conversational, heartfelt way. What You’ll Do (Your Role) - Write 5 short scripts or talking-point outlines for social media videos. You’ll be crafting either full scripts or bullet-point outlines that our host can riff on. - Cover inspiring topics: Each script will mix beauty/skincare topics with a self-improvement or mental wellness theme. For example, one video might showcase a makeup routine paired with self-care tips, another could be a skincare tutorial that boosts confidence, or even a candid story about mental health woven into a beauty vlog. - Capture the right tone: Your writing should feel authentic and upbeat, as if our influencer is speaking to their best friend. Humor and empathy are welcome! Even serious topics (like self-esteem or anxiety) should be handled with a positive, encouraging touch. - Inform and inspire: Make sure each script includes helpful insights or tips. We want viewers to learn something (a new skincare hack or a wellness habit) and feel a personal connection through storytelling. - Structure the story: Ensure each script has a clear beginning, middle, and end. That means a friendly intro, a captivating story or set of key points, and a satisfying conclusion or call-to-action. What We’re Looking For (About You) - Experience in content/script writing: You’ve written for social media, YouTube, or podcasts – especially in beauty, lifestyle, or wellness niches. (Bonus points if you’ve crafted content in the voice of a creator or influencer’s brand!) - Engaging writing style: You know how to write in a conversational, first-person voice that hooks viewers. Your style is fun, down-to-earth, and easy to relate to. If you can channel an Alix Earle “Get Ready With Me” vibe or a Kat Stickler storytime, you’ll shine in this role. - Knowledge & passion: You stay up-to-date on beauty and skincare trends, and you care about personal development and mental health topics. This helps you create content that’s both trendy and meaningful. - Research savvy: You can do a bit of fact-checking when needed. For example, you’ll verify a skincare claim or wellness tip so our advice stays accurate. - Adaptable and collaborative: You’re open to feedback and able to tweak scripts so that the tone and content are just right. We’re a team, and collaboration will make these scripts even better! Deliverables & Format - 5 completed scripts or outlines, delivered in a shared document format (Google Docs or Word). - Each script around 300–500 words, which should translate to roughly a 2–4 minute video when spoken. - Open to refining your drafts with 1–2 quick revision rounds if needed, to make sure we hit the perfect tone and message.
