Hi! I’m the owner of a small but thriving music school based in Columbia, Missouri, and the founder of a growing education tech startup. Right now, I’m juggling a lot — running the school, supporting teachers and families, and building something much bigger behind the scenes. I was born in St. Louis and graduated from Mizzou, but I now live in Greece with my wife (she’s from Ireland). I typically come back to the U.S. about once a year, so while this role is fully remote, it would be a big plus if you’re in or near Columbia, MO and could occasionally stop by the school when needed — not required, just helpful. I’m looking for a long-term assistant I can rely on — someone who’s not just organized and dependable, but fun to work with. I want this to feel like a partnership, not a list of tasks. If you love helping things run smoothly, keeping people informed, and checking things off a list while building something meaningful — I’d love to work with you. This role is ideal for someone who wants to grow with a business, not just do one-off admin work. There’s room here to take ownership, try new things, and eventually help manage others if that’s of interest. We'll start out fairly slow around 10 hours a week and build up to full time. Definitely room for raises as my new company grows and you prove yourself.
