Job Description: Healthcare Project Manager to Build Medicaid NRT Telehealth Pipeline (Patient Sourcing, Pharmacy Coordination, Billing Setup) I’m a board-certified Nurse Practitioner with autonomous licensure and a private telehealth practice. I’m looking to hire a skilled, proactive healthcare project manager or operations consultant to help build a Medicaid-based asynchronous care pipeline for nicotine replacement therapy (NRT). This is a high-growth opportunity for someone familiar with Medicaid workflows, pharmacy collaboration, and telehealth systems. The goal is to create a fully functioning virtual NRT program serving patients across multiple states. Responsibilities: Patient Pipeline + Lead Generation • Identify sources of eligible Medicaid patients (forums, referral partners, social orgs, prior program lists) • Build an outreach strategy to find patients actively seeking to quit nicotine • Help implement patient intake + triage (intake forms, Medicaid verification, consent, etc.) Pharmacy Coordination • Assist in identifying or reconnecting with Medicaid-contracted pharmacies open to standing orders • Coordinate NRT prescribing workflow (from intake to pharmacy submission) • Optional: assist with documentation for collaborative protocol setup Admin + Billing Infrastructure • Research state-specific billing codes + documentation requirements for asynchronous NRT • Help set up backend systems (e.g., forms, EHR or documentation storage, billing platform) • Recommend affordable staffing support for long-term admin coverage General System Setup • Identify any necessary HIPAA-compliant tools for intake, scheduling, follow-up • Suggest automations or integrations that reduce admin load • Organize the system into a repeatable model (SOPs, workflows, etc.) Ideal Skills & Experience: • Medicaid patient workflows or experience working with underserved populations • Familiarity with pharmacy operations, medication protocols, or NRT programs • Knowledge of asynchronous telehealth or remote care delivery • Strong operations, healthcare project management, and system thinking skills • Excellent communication, resourcefulness, and startup-minded energy Scope & Timeline: • Project-Based to Start – potential for ongoing advisory or operational work • Start ASAP • Flexible hours, remote • Long-term partnership possible if aligned Please include in your proposal: • Brief overview of your relevant experience • Examples of similar programs or systems you’ve helped build • Any relevant healthcare/pharmacy/Medicaid/NRT background • Your availability and ideal start date Let’s build something meaningful that delivers real impact.
