The Opportunity: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Fractional Head of Sales to provide immediate strategic leadership and drive new business acquisition. This is a critical role for an experienced sales leader who can quickly assess, strategize, and implement effective processes to rapidly fill our pipeline and accelerate revenue growth. Our focus is squarely on getting new business in the door ASAP and establishing repeatable, scalable sales processes. This role requires a leader who thrives on building foundational sales excellence and executing strategies that deliver immediate impact in a B2B SaaS environment. What You'll Do: As our Fractional Head of Sales, you will be instrumental in transforming our sales engine. Your primary focus will be strategic oversight, process optimization, and direct enablement of our sales team to achieve new business targets. Strategic Sales Leadership: Immediately assess existing sales processes, pipeline health, and team capabilities to identify critical gaps and opportunities for rapid improvement. New Business Generation: Develop and execute aggressive strategies specifically focused on new logo acquisition, ensuring a robust pipeline coverage for future quarters. Pipeline Management & Acceleration: Implement and refine strict pipeline management methodologies to ensure predictable forecasting, accelerate sales cycles, and drive deals from discovery to close. Aim to get our pipeline coverage consistently to 110%+. Process & Playbook Development: Define and standardize clear, repeatable sales processes and workflows (e.g., lead qualification, prospecting cadence, deal progression stages) that can be documented into an actionable sales playbook. Sales Team Enablement & Coaching: Provide strategic guidance, coaching frameworks, and actionable feedback to our Account Executives and SDRs/BDRs, enabling them to improve conversion rates and increase productivity. Metrics & Accountability: Implement rigorous data-driven tracking and accountability mechanisms, ensuring daily/weekly monitoring of key sales KPIs (e.g., deals created, conversion rates, sales cycle length, pipeline coverage) and driving corrective actions swiftly. Sales & Marketing Alignment: Collaborate closely with Marketing to optimize lead generation, qualification, and nurturing processes, ensuring a seamless handoff and effective MOFU (Middle-of-Funnel) strategies to convert prospects into opportunities. CRM Optimization (HubSpot): Leverage and optimize HubSpot for sales activities, reporting, and pipeline visibility to ensure data integrity and actionable insights. What You Bring: Proven B2B SaaS Sales Leadership: 7+ years of progressive sales experience, with at least 3+ years in a sales leadership/management role within a B2B SaaS company, preferably selling training, HR, or EHS solutions. Immediate Impact Mindset: Demonstrated ability to quickly diagnose sales challenges, implement strategic solutions, and drive tangible results in a short timeframe. Experience in turning around declining pipelines is a significant plus. Strong New Business Acumen: A track record of developing and executing successful new logo acquisition strategies. Process-Driven: Expertise in building, documenting, and implementing scalable sales processes and methodologies. Data-Fluent: Highly analytical, comfortable with sales metrics, CRM dashboards (HubSpot preferred), and leveraging data for strategic decision-making and accountability. Coaching & Mentoring Skills: Ability to inspire, train, and motivate sales professionals to achieve ambitious targets. Excellent Communication: Superior written and verbal communication skills for internal and external stakeholders.
