WordPress • Shopify • Squarespace • CRMs • SEO • Design-Driven Builds We’re looking for a highly versatile, experienced Web Developer who can bring both technical expertise and creative polish to every project. This role requires someone who can confidently handle anything from a basic website build to a complex e-commerce or CRM-integrated project—while making it look sharp, clean, and professional. You’ll work closely with our marketing and SEO teams to build high-performing, fully tracked, and conversion-focused websites. A strong eye for design is a must—we do not have an in-house graphic designer, so you'll be expected to create clean, visually appealing layouts and handle light design tasks as needed using tools like Photoshop, Canva, or Figma. This is a remote position, but we prefer candidates located in Jacksonville, FL, as an in-person meeting with ownership may be required before hiring. Regular internal communication and occasional client Zoom meetings are part of the role. What You'll Do: Build and manage websites on platforms like WordPress (Divi, Elementor), Squarespace, Shopify, and others. Create fully responsive, visually appealing layouts that reflect each client’s brand. Execute custom features or functionality based on unique client requests—no task should be too complex. Handle CRM integrations (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.), third-party tools, form builders, and API connections. Implement tracking and analytics (GA4, GTM, Facebook Pixel, etc.). Apply SEO best practices and recommendations from our SEO team during builds. Occasionally create simple graphics, image edits, and visual assets using Photoshop or similar tools. Communicate clearly and professionally with our internal team and clients. Stay current with platform updates, new tools, and development/design trends. Required Skills & Experience: 5+ years of full-stack web development experience (agency or freelance with multiple clients a plus). Deep knowledge of WordPress (custom builds, plugin management, security, migrations). Proficient in Shopify, Squarespace, and other visual builders. Comfortable creating and editing visuals in Photoshop, Figma, Canva, etc. Solid grasp of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript. Strong understanding of on-page SEO, page speed, and mobile optimization. Familiarity with CRM integrations, API connections, form builders, and lead capture tools. Expert at setting up and troubleshooting tracking (GA4, GTM, Pixels, UTM, etc.). Excellent written and verbal communication skills—professional, responsive, and self-managed. Bonus Points For: WooCommerce and advanced Shopify experience. API development or custom functionality builds. Accessibility and WCAG compliance knowledge. Prior work integrating tools like Zapier, Clarity, or marketing automation platforms.
