Position Overview: The RAG Chatbot Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing a sophisticated RAG chatbot for ISG’s website. The ideal candidate will have experience working with AI-powered chatbots, natural language processing (NLP), and machine learning models. This role will require collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure that the chatbot aligns with the company’s educational objectives and customer service goals. Key Responsibilities: Develop, deploy, and maintain a high-quality RAG chatbot to assist visitors on the International Sommelier Guild website. Implement NLP techniques to ensure smooth and accurate communication with users. Integrate chatbot capabilities with existing systems and databases. Design and implement a seamless conversational experience tailored to our educational services. Troubleshoot and optimize the chatbot for improved performance and user engagement. Collaborate with product and content teams to ensure chatbot responses are aligned with the brand's voice and tone. Provide regular updates and reports on chatbot performance and user engagement metrics. Stay up-to-date with advancements in AI, machine learning, and chatbot technologies to continually improve the system. Requirements: Proven experience in developing AI-powered chatbots, particularly using RAG models. Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or similar. Experience with NLP libraries and frameworks (e.g., Hugging Face, OpenAI API, SpaCy, etc.). Experience with machine learning frameworks and algorithms. Strong understanding of chatbot integration and deployment. Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work environment. Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with conversational AI in the educational or hospitality sectors. Familiarity with customer service and support workflows. Understanding of data privacy and security best practices in chatbot development.
