My primary BUSINESS GOAL is to create a base - a tribe of followers who would be interested in my upcoming memoir. When I'm ready to approach a publisher or agent in a year, they will want to know who is my base - I need help to create this base. I believe my book will have wide appeal. I also would like to be sought after for public speaking, around the country, on my book and related topics. I SEEK a visionary BUSINESS STRATEGIST or COACH that I can speak with weekly or biweekly on what I've been doing, and the strategist/coach will give me insights and direction. For example, they may suggest I write a blog post, or a newsletter for SubStack, or make a video for YouTube, or some combination of those, or something else. You do not need to know about publishing/writing - mainly building my base. I envision using Substack, Bluesky, and TikTok, but also events published on Meetup and Eventbrite, to gain attention - and whatever else you think may be effective. My book audience is mainly progressive, moderate Catholics, and ex-Catholics. Also Christians and non-Christians who may be fascinated by the "inner workings" of Catholicism. If YOU are Catholic or ex-Catholic, you may be in a great position to understand my content, and know how to position in. My content is arcane yet useful Catholic-related trivia, knowledge, and jargon which I believe my above-mentioned audience will be hungry for. What they gain, is a better understanding of their faith, and for ex-Catholics, and offer some healing on their relationship with a church or people they may not have understood. I envision that I'm the content-generator, and you are my director who sees the big picture of how my content will disseminated, to build the base. With your knowledge or cultural experience of Catholicism, you may be well-positioned to suggest content that I create. My business skills are: Counseling (relationships, marriage), offering workshops for churches on the topic of relationships, intimacy, the Enneagram, lots of Catholic trivia and knowledge, and writing a memoir of my very fascinating experiences "inside" a large church organization. I'm also a charismatic and engaging public speaker. I have a theology degree.
