Social Media Marketing Director for a modern synagogue with a religious school. Director would develop and implement a marketing plan to recruit new students and families to our congregation. Most content will be provided by rabbi, teachers and staff but SM Director needs some creative expertise to design ads and engaging posts. Must be able to outline the overall plan and work with Neshamah leadership team to implement. Scheduling and organization are essential. Posts need to be planned at least one month in advance. Rabbi and staff will review posts and send feedback or approval. Edits to posts need to be returned quickly - within 2-3 days. Current schedule is 4 posts per week. Sunday - post about school (photos from current lessons or holiday experiences) Monday - photos from current weekend’s Bar Mitzvah/Wedding or Shabbat service Weds - general brand awareness - birthdays or promo upcoming events Friday - post of rabbi teaching. SM Director will do follow up on post engagement / comments daily and forward new leads to Neshamah staff within 24 hours. Marketing and SEO experience required. Must have experience with Meta ads and SEO to generate new leads. Goal is to sell additional 200 or more tickets to High Holy Day services and grow our school by 50% or more for Fall 2025. We are looking to add an essential team member who can communicate our unique mission with new potential members.
