We are seeking a professional English to Spanish interpreter for a live webinar event taking place on Wednesday, April 17, from 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM Central Time. The webinar will feature a dialogue-style discussion of the documentary UNSEEN, with special guests Director Set Hernandez and Protagonist Pedro. Attendees will be encouraged to view the documentary in advance of the event. Interpreter Responsibilities: 1. Provide real-time English to Spanish interpretation during the live Zoom webinar. 2. Participate in a practice session beginning at 6:30 PM CT on the day of the event. 3. Complete a 30-minute test run on a mutually agreed upon date prior to the event to ensure technical readiness. 4. Support interpretation exclusively for panelists and hosts (attendees will not be speaking). 5. Navigate and manage Zoom interpretation tools comfortably and professionally. Requirements: 1. Proven experience in live webinar interpretation (English ↔ Spanish). 2. Proficiency in Zoom’s interpretation feature and ability to troubleshoot basic tech issues. 3. Comfort interpreting dialogue and discussion-based content. 4. Reliable internet connection and professional setup. 5. Interest or familiarity with topics related to disability, immigration, or documentary films is a plus. Compensation: --$50/hour, including the event, practice session, and test run.
