We're looking for a fractional team member – someone who can learn the software, interact directly with clients, and (if the fit is right) is looking for a longer-term engagement. Here's the short of it: - JobTread is a newer project management + job costing tool for small construction companies (home builders, remodelers, landscapers) - They have about 5000 customers and are growing rapidly - I run a premier implementation partner for them, helping companies configure the software to their needs including using Zapier automations - We're growing rapidly and need new people to join our team. We will train you on JobTread. What you'd do: - Learn the software in-and-out and become a reliable resource for our customers - Customize the software and integrate it with other tools (Zapier in particular) according to client needs - Design solutions to operations problems for clients, as many challenges are process/systems challenges (not software challenges) - Eventually become a 'champion,' our internal lingo for a trained leader who interacts directly with clients without supervision - Collab with a growing team of other operations-minded folks who are curious and kind You can see the company website at https://smithandco.ltd. What we're looking for: - Operations mindset and skillset - Experience working directly in a consulting role with small business owners (either yourself) - Fractional COO is not required, but typically indicates the kind of person who would be good at this work - Managers of one (people who have high agency, curiosity, creativity, and self-discipline) - Experience in remodeling or construction is a bonus but not required We operate using Basecamp and GDrive.
