Legal Clerk for Ecommerce Brand Protection & Enforcement (Marketplace Infringement & Test Buys)

We are an established eCommerce brands company seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Clerk to assist with intellectual property enforcement and brand protection across major marketplaces (Amazon, Walmart, eBay, Temu, etc.). This role involves gathering evidence of IP infringement, monitoring unauthorized sellers, documenting violations, conducting test buys, and preparing detailed case files to support our legal team in pursuing enforcement and litigation. Responsibilities: Monitor major marketplaces and identify unauthorized sellers/infringers Document infringements and violations with screenshots, timestamps, and seller/store details Organize and maintain case files with full context and evidence for attorney review Coordinate and execute test buys for evidence gathering Work closely with our legal team and provide timely updates Track repeat offenders and escalate as needed Ideal Candidate Will Have: Prior experience in legal support, paralegal work, or eCommerce IP enforcement Familiarity with Amazon, Walmart, eBay, Etsy, and other marketplaces Strong research and documentation skills High attention to detail and ability to follow procedures precisely Ability to work independently, stay organized, and handle sensitive information (Bonus) Experience with IP law, cease & desist processes, or anti-counterfeit efforts Tools You May Use: Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive) Amazon Seller Central Marketplace monitoring platforms Case management spreadsheets or tools Email and communication with marketplace support/legal departments This is a part-time contract role with potential for long-term collaboration as our enforcement efforts expand.
