Shoemaker Films is a content studio based in the Philadelphia suburbs serving the Main Line. We produce high quality and high converting media assets for brands, with a primary focus on video production, podcasts, and social media management. We are seeking a social media manager to facilitate our client operations. This individual will be responsible for managing the content calendar of at-least 2 clients to start. Industries are in the physical therapy/exercise science spaces, as well as another client in the horticultural space. The ideal candidate is able to quickly learn scientific concepts through a marketing lens, and execute that across various social media channels including Instagram, Facebook TikTok, Youtube, and LinkedIn. This is largely a remote position but ideally this individual would be local to the greater Philadelphia area and could make an in-person meeting 1-2 times per month either to meet with the team or attend a shoot with a client. Each client has different needs but generally content deliverables are 4-6 posts per week, with daily stories, and daily audience engagement. This is presumably a part-time job with 20-30 hours per week (but may fluctuate based on the client or candidate's ability to execute efficiently). It's important for this individual to be able take feedback well and be available during US (EST) times as often times we need to execute quickly on content with a quick turnaround. No agencies. Specific tasks include: -Brainstorming content ideas -Managing a content calendar (via Google Sheets) -Scheduling posts -Keeping on top of trends across social media and marketing -Designing graphics -Writing copy (captions, titles, descriptions) -Editing transcripts for long-form videos -Light video editing -Capturing BTS on bigger shoots -Engaging with client through email or chat -Engaging with followers/community members on social media We are a growing company and have plans to continue bringing on more social media management clients so this role could expand into full time or an advisory/leadership role.
