We are seeking Certified Public Accountants (CPAs) with experience in government financial audits, compliance reviews, and external auditing services. The selected candidates will be responsible for conducting financial statement audits, Single Audits (2 CFR 200 - Uniform Guidance), and compliance assessments for various government entities. This role requires expertise in Government Auditing Standards (Yellow Book) and experience working with federal, state, and local government financials. Responsibilities Conduct financial statement audits and reviews for government agencies. Perform compliance audits in accordance with Yellow Book standards. Conduct Single Audits for federal and state funding per 2 CFR 200 (Uniform Guidance). Issue independent financial audit reports. Evaluate internal controls for financial reporting, grant compliance, and bond covenants. Assess enterprise funds (e.g., Water & Wastewater, Solid Waste). Participate in debt issuance processes and review financial disclosures. Analyze and audit Oracle Cloud ERP system and related IT controls for financial reporting. Provide actionable recommendations to improve financial reporting efficiency and compliance. Qualifications Active CPA license (U.S. required) 5+ years of experience in government financial auditing (state/local/federal agencies) Experience with Oracle Cloud ERP systems (preferred but not required) Ability to assess internal controls and identify areas for process improvements. Excellent report writing skills with a focus on financial compliance. Strong analytical and communication skills.
