We are seeking a highly skilled App Developer and Designer to build a cutting-edge healthcare application for Better U, a telemedicine platform specializing in alternative breakthrough treatments. This is an exciting opportunity to develop a comprehensive patient portal with advanced features, interactive tools, and engaging educational content that will revolutionize mental health care delivery. Project Overview The project involves developing a custom mobile application that enhances the GoHighLevel (GHL)-based telehealth platform. The app will focus on improving patient experience, tracking metrics, and streamlining operations while maintaining HIPAA compliance. Additionally, the app will include interactive tools, gamification features, and educational content to empower users in their mental health journey. Key Responsibilities The selected candidate will be responsible for: User Registration & Authentication Implement sign-up via Email & Password, Facebook, Google, and Apple ID. Enable email/phone verification for account creation. Develop secure login and password recovery mechanisms. Build user profile management tools (image upload, personal details, preferences, billing settings). Sync users with GoHighLevel using ContactID. Create an onboarding wizard for daily, weekly, and monthly goals with personalized health plans. Personalized Assessments & Tracking Integrate cognitive assessments to evaluate brain function. Implement progress tracking with performance reports. Add daily check-ins for mood, happiness, and mental clarity. Dashboard Features Allow patients to view upcoming appointments and book new ones. Display active goals, outstanding tasks (e.g., form status), and current courses/programs/sessions. Integrate a floating button for recording metrics, journaling, activity tracking, and progress photos. Sync Apple Watch activity and metrics. Provide basic visualization graphs for metrics. Showcase additional/popular products and shipment tracking with map functionality. Coaching & Learning Modules Develop brain training activities (e.g., mindfulness exercises and guided tasks). Create personalized coaching programs based on assessments. Add video lessons with quizzes for self-improvement. Include educational content such as articles and videos on brain health. Better U LMS Build a basic LMS system with course completion tracking and favorites selection. Implement full CRUD functionality for LMS programs/modules with drag-and-drop tools. Add multimedia content (text, video, audio player with multiple tracks, PDFs). Develop interactive micro-learning features with short videos paired with prompts and exercises. Include text input options like radio buttons, dropdowns, long/short text inputs. Gamification & Engagement Gamify the app with achievements, badges, and rewards to keep users motivated. Add quizzes and interactive tools like "Know Your Dragons," "Memory Rescue," and "Happiness Questionnaire." Include meditation and relaxation exercises with guided audio. Interactive Well-being Features Integrate guided breathing exercises (e.g., Box Breathing techniques). Add brain-enhancing music and hypnosis audios. Implement Automatic Negative Thoughts (ANTs) management tools. Develop neuroscience-backed happiness tools. Client Groups Customize programs, calendars, and metrics based on client groups tied to purchased services. Reminders & Notifications Enable daily push notifications for reminders (assessments/lessons/exercises). Create announcement banners/popups for updates or promotions. Chat & Community Enable real-time chat functionality with brain health coaches. Support multimedia messaging (text, images, video, audio). Track online status of coaches. Integration & Compatibility Integrate wearable devices (e.g., sleep tracking and biometrics). Enable third-party login options (Facebook, Google, Apple ID). Ensure seamless integration with Adobe Commerce and other tools. Patient Profile Display relevant group calendars and enable appointment booking via GoHighLevel API. Implement CRUD functionality for appointments. Develop a credit system for appointments (purchase credits, view types of credits). Allow creation of new calendars/appointment types tied to specific credit types. Trigger API actions after payment (e.g., send intake quiz via PracticeQ EHR). Integrate payment history viewing through GoHighLevel API. Track intake documents/forms status using PracticeQ EHR API. Additional Features Integrate Stripe, Apple Pay, and Google Pay for payment processing. Trigger API actions after payment (e.g., send intake quiz via PracticeQ EHR). Display shipment tracking information on the dashboard. Add meditations into the LMS using multimedia attachments via staff drag-and-drop wizard. Transparent privacy policies with user consent mechanisms. Required Skills & Experience To be considered for this role: Experience 5+ years of software development experience; 2+ years focused on GoHighLevel development. Proven expertise in GHL's V2 API and webhook system. Strong background in telehealth app development. Technical Proficiency React Native experience is mandatory. Proficiency in mobile app development languages/frameworks. Expertise in UI/UX design principles. Knowledge of cloud platforms for app deployment. Compliance Knowledge Familiarity with HIPAA regulations. Preferred Qualifications Previous telehealth app development experience. Understanding of AI/machine learning applications in healthcare contexts.
