Civil Litigation Attorney Needed to File Privacy Violation Lawsuit Against Wells Fargo & TurboTenant

I am seeking a skilled civil litigation attorney licensed to practice in federal court (District of New Jersey) to represent my client, Alicia Lyons, in filing a lawsuit against Wells Fargo Bank, N.A. and TurboTenant, Inc. for violations of federal and state privacy laws. Case Summary: • Wells Fargo and TurboTenant both released Alicia Lyons’s private and business financial records to a third party (her ex-partner’s spouse) in response to fraudulent subpoenas that were never properly served or verified. • These subpoenas were not served on Alicia, in violation of court rules, and did not have valid judicial authorization. • As a result, sensitive business banking records, tenant contact information, and third-party financial data were disclosed without her consent. • A Superior Court judge in New Jersey recently granted an order quashing the subpoenas and suppressing the records as inadmissible, finding the subpoenas were improperly issued and the information was obtained unlawfully. Relief Sought: We are pursuing a civil action for: • Negligent release of financial information • Invasion of privacy • Breach of fiduciary duty • Violation of the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act • Violation of the Right to Financial Privacy Act • Possible state common law tort claims Ideal Candidate: • Licensed in New Jersey Federal District Court (or willing to be admitted pro hac vice) • Civil litigation experience, especially in financial privacy, torts, or consumer rights • Ability to draft and file a federal complaint • Familiarity with GLBA, 12 U.S.C. §§ 3401–3422, and state privacy laws • Professional, responsive, and able to begin work promptly Deliverables: • Draft and file a federal complaint • Advise on litigation strategy • Handle all procedural filings • Represent Alicia Lyons through pretrial proceedings Please reply with your qualifications, hourly rate or flat fee proposal, and any relevant experience with similar privacy or financial disclosure cases.
