Hi! We are looking for a New York City–based lifestyle photographer to help bring our brand to life through dreamy, cinematic content. Our app, Faev, is a new female-first platform designed to help young women navigate the exciting (and overwhelming) experience of moving to a new city post-college. Think: finding roommates, building community, and romanticizing your twenties. Faev is launching this summer in NYC and LA, with a mission to replace outdated platforms like Facebook as the go-to space for roommate matching and friend finding. We need you to help us visually tell that story. We are looking for someone who can capture: - The feeling of arriving in New York for the first time - Brownstone-lined streets, coffee runs, and packed suitcases - Golden hour shots on fire escapes with drinks in hand - Friendship, freedom, and the energy of early adulthood in the city Editorial, yet natural moments (à la Carrie Bradshaw, but Gen Z) You can check out the faev.app website to get a feel for our brand’s aesthetic direction. What we’re looking for: -Based in New York City -Experience with lifestyle or editorial photography -Comfort shooting natural light and on-location (outdoors, cafes, apartments) -Ability to deliver edited, high-quality images for social and web use - Ability to location scout & model scout Optional but ideal: Experience working with early-stage brands Timeline: Looking to shoot as soon as possible—we are aiming to get the content done in the next few weeks.
