I am looking to mass produce and market very simple 1.5 mm thick cutouts of various pendant shapes. Should I be aware of any potential existing design infringement? To my knowledge, original jewelry designs, including pendants, are automatically protected under copyright law as sculptural works or works of artistic craftsmanship. Basically, I need to know all there is to become comfortable to design, create and market my jewelry pendants without having any doubts or fears.
