Based in Austin, TX, Meshify (www.meshify.com) builds Internet of Things (IoT) technologies that predict and prevent property and equipment risks. Each and every day, businesses and homes stay up and running thanks to our solution that mitigates losses due to water leaks, frozen pipes, and equipment failure. Meshify is seeking a skilled business analyst to assist in identifying business requirements and creating detailed tickets for our projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in analyzing business processes and excellent communication skills. You will work closely with our team to ensure all requirements are accurately captured and documented. Responsibilities: • Identify and analyze business requirements for various projects. • Create detailed and well-structured tickets for development teams. • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document functional and non-functional requirements. • Translate complex business needs into clear, actionable tasks. • Work closely with project managers, developers, and other team members to ensure alignment on project goals. • Track requirements from documentation to implementation to ensure alignment with project goals. • Conduct gap analysis and recommend actions in response. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of business processes and requirements. • Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical team members. • Assist in prioritizing tasks and refining project backlogs. • Ensure that all requirements meet business objectives and stakeholder expectations. Skills and Experience: • Proven experience analyzing business processes and gathering requirements. • Strong ability to create detailed, structured, and clear documentation, including user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical specifications. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to break down complex business needs into actionable tasks. • Experience working closely with project managers, developers, and cross-functional teams. • Familiarity with software development processes, Agile methodologies, and ticketing systems (Jira preferred). • Ability to identify inefficiencies and suggest improvements to business workflows. • Ability to capture precise requirements and ensure clarity for development teams. • Experience working in Agile environments and contributing to sprint planning and backlog refinement. • Ability to assess stakeholder needs and propose practical, effective solutions.
