Wholesale Sales Director – Luxury Footwear Location: Remote Contract Type: Full-Time / Consultant Industry: Luxury Footwear About Us Cedrick McDonald, LLC is a high-end luxury footwear brand, handcrafted in Italy, designed for the sophisticated, fashion-forward woman. As we prepare for our market launch, we are seeking an experienced Wholesale Sales Director to secure retail partnerships, drive wholesale growth, and expand our presence in key luxury markets. Responsibilities: Wholesale Strategy & Business Development Develop and execute a wholesale growth strategy targeting luxury department stores, boutiques, and online retailers. Identify, negotiate, and secure partnerships with premium retail buyers, showrooms, and fashion distributors. Build and manage relationships with key retail partners (Neiman Marcus, Saks, Bergdorf Goodman, Harrods, etc.). Sales & Account Management Achieve and exceed wholesale sales targets, ensuring strong sell-through rates. Maintain and grow relationships with existing wholesale accounts, identifying expansion opportunities. Oversee seasonal order planning, product allocation, and forecasting. Provide feedback on market trends, customer preferences, and competitive positioning. Trade Shows & Fashion Market Events Represent the brand at tradeshows, fashion markets, and industry events to generate wholesale interest. Develop compelling sales presentations, line sheets, and buyer materials. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with marketing and PR teams to align brand positioning across wholesale channels. Partner with production teams to manage inventory planning and order fulfillment. Qualifications: 5+ years of wholesale sales experience in luxury footwear, accessories, or high-end fashion. Strong relationships with premium retailers, buyers, and showrooms. Proven track record of expanding wholesale accounts and driving revenue growth. Understanding of luxury market trends, pricing strategies, and merchandising. Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills. Ability to travel for buyer meetings, tradeshows, and retail events as needed.
