POSITION DESCRIPTION The Operations Manager, Brand Development, reports to the Director, Brand Development, at Arax Investment Partners, a financial services holding company based in New York City. The Arax team serves stakeholders at three partner wealth management verticals across the Arax ecosystem, Arax Advisory Partners (~$4B AUM), Ashton Thomas Private Wealth (~$9B AUM and AUA), and U.S. Capital Wealth (~$9B AUM and AUA). The Brand Development team functions as a branding, marketing, and communications agency delivering digital marketing, content, creative, brand strategy, and related solutions to the three verticals and to financial advisors within those verticals. There is one direct report into this position, the Administrative Assistant, Brand Development. The position is based in Scottsdale, Arizona, with possible remote work options available. The particular responsibilities of the Operations Manager, Brand Development, role are: - Project Management Lead o Support Brand Development in oversight of project workflows, resource management, and meeting stated objectives o Ensure incoming project requests are handled, responded to, and moved forward in a timely manner o Seeing project from ideation/start to successful conclusion o Owning the Brand Development project management platform, Monday.com - Stakeholder Oversight and Coordination o Work with Brand Development vertical leaders and resources to manage workflows and timelines, ensure timely delivery of all services and solutions, and facilitate communication across stakeholder groups o Build successful relationships with firm/vertical C-suite members to ensure understanding of Brand Development initiatives and drive coordination of resources to successful project conclusion o Interface, as needed, with individual advisors and teams to understand critical components of projects and ensure consistent, timely delivery of Brand Development services and solutions o Administer external vendor and contractor relationships in support of team deliverables - Leadership Support o Support the Director, Brand Development, in coordination of resources and stakeholders, with occasional support provided to the Chief Growth Officer, as well o Coordinate Director scheduling and manage accessibility o Assist Director in tracking down information and following up on critical dependencies for both project-related strategic-level initiatives   - Staff Oversight: Administrative Assistant In support of the above functions… o Manage daily/weekly responsibilities and workflow of Administrative Assistant, Brand Development o Ensure Administrative Assistant is set up for success in all critical deliverables of the role o Oversee Administrative Assistant training, accountability, KPIs - Ad-hoc Projects o Support the Brand Development team in ad-hoc projects as assigned Key Success Factors: - Possesses a level of professional and functional maturity creating confidence among stakeholders - Quickly and effectively prioritizes numerous simultaneous requests - Deploys resources across a range of functions quickly and effectively - Communicates expectations up-channel and down-channel effectively and respectfully - Holds stakeholders of varying degrees of seniority accountable - Gains and retains confidence and respect of team members via consistent follow-through - Possess superior decision-making skills, particularly when faced with competing priorities - Adept at conflict resolution, particularly where stakeholders appear to have competing priorities - Obtains cross-functional buy-in on key initiatives - Is “tech proficient”, not just tech savvy This is a mission-critical, high-visibility role within a rapidly growing, national wealth management ecosystem. Professionalism, commitment to follow-through, effective communication skills, and attention to detail are crucial for success. Must be exceptionally organized and able to balance multiple demands from internal and external stakeholders on a daily basis. Ability to understand and assess project/task scope and identify and organization key resources are essential. Established knowledge of and experience with branding, marketing, and communications operations/workflows are a key component of this role. Prior experience working with a high-end consumer-facing brand is strongly preferred. Knowledge of financial services and/or wealth management (or a similarly regulated industry) is strongly preferred. This role will oversee our project management system, Monday. Familiarity with this platform or a similar project tracking platform is required. Minimum of eight (8) years of high-level operations or administrative experience in an internal branding, marketing and communications, creative agency, or high-end consumer brand setting. Must be able to pass a background check and maintain a good reputation within the industry and community.   KEY SKILLS • Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred • Must be a “super user” of Microsoft Office 365: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc. • Experience with Monday.com or a similar project management platform required • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud would be a plus • Familiarity with omnichannel marketing and/or CMS platforms would be helpful • Ability to manage multiple projects/tasks simultaneously and navigate various functional areas • Ability to communicate effectively with multiple internal and external stakeholders • Ability to manage staff and hold stakeholder accountable • Must be proficient in time management • Must have excellent organizational skills • Attention to detail is indispensable KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS On Time: consistently deliver services and solutions in a timely manner On Target: consistently deliver services and solutions that meet or exceed stakeholder expectations On Brand: consistently deliver services and solutions that meet brand standards On Budget: consistently deliver services and solutions in a cost-effective manner COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS This is a temp-to-hire position. 90-day contract opportunity with an option to extend or convert to a permanent employee role if all parties are satisfied.
