We are seeking a seasoned Healthcare Bookkeeper and/or CPA to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in bookkeeping and accounting within the healthcare industry. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can manage financial records, ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, and provide strategic financial insights. Responsibilities: Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries. Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports. Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the development and monitoring of budgets and financial forecasts. Compliance: Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards, including HIPAA and other relevant laws. Tax Preparation and Planning: Prepare year end financials for filing of tax returns, and develop tax strategies to optimize financial performance. Audit Support: Provide support during internal and external audits, ensuring all financial records are accurate and complete. Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements. Consultation: Offer strategic financial advice to management and stakeholders to support decision-making processes. Software Proficiency: Utilize accounting software and tools to manage financial data ex:, QuickBooks Minimum of 5 years of bookkeeping and accounting experience in the healthcare industry. Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements. Proficiency in accounting software and tools. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
