As our business continues to grow and evolve, we are looking to bring on a Fractional Bookkeeper to help us build strong financial foundations, bring clarity to our books, and ensure long-term accountability. Role: Part-time / Remote (10–20 hours/month to start) Key Responsibilities: - Set Up & Organize Accounting System - Establish or clean up QuickBooks (or preferred accounting software) - Set up appropriate chart of accounts tailored to PR, marketing, and service-based business operations Weekly Bookkeeping - Record all incoming revenue from Stripe, PayPal, bank accounts - Track expenses across all departments (ads, payroll, contractors, software, etc.) - Reconcile bank and credit card statements weekly - Cash Flow Monitoring - Maintain a simple cash flow forecast so leadership knows what’s coming in/out - Categorize Spending - Break down spending by department (Sales, Ops, Marketing, Delivery, etc.) - Flag unusual or excessive spending for review Prepare Monthly Reports - Provide P&L, cash flow summary, and budget vs actuals - Create simple dashboards to support CEO decision-making - Support Tax Preparation - Coordinate with external CPA (or internal tax pro) with clean books and documentation - Advise on Best Practices - Suggest areas for savings, smarter spend allocation, and efficient financial ops Ideal Candidate: - 3+ years experience as a bookkeeper for service-based or marketing companies - Strong QuickBooks experience (or similar) - Familiar with U.S. tax and expense classifications - Excellent communication and proactive attitude Bonus: experience in entertainment/music/PR industry
