Post Event Video Editor Needed

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Video Editor to supplement our video team for a well-defined project. The successful candidate will be responsible for editing breakout session content filmed at Strategy World, our annual user conference, ensuring the highest quality output. The editing work itself is not complicated, the sessions are essentially lectures about the platform, delivered by both customers and technology experts. And the videos will be linearly structured from a camera source and screen recording. Light editing will include cleaning things up, to make them presentable for on-demand viewing by our customers and prospects. The challenge will be in speed - we need to publish more than 90 of these by the end of May, so the candidate will need to be comfortable maintaining quality with a high deliverable speed. The candidate will not need to produce all of these sessions, the two full time employees will be helping as well, but can expect to produce between 40 and 50 of these session videos during the duration of the contract. Editing will begin while we are on-site for the conference from May 4th through May 8th. The candidate’s first day will be on the Wednesday of that week. Key Responsibilities: • Edit video content from Strategy World sessions using Adobe Premiere Pro. • Ensure videos meet the visual and auditory standards of Strategy World. • Incorporate feedback from the content and production teams. • Publish and upload final videos as specified. • Ensure timely delivery of all assigned video projects. Qualifications: • Proven experience as a Video Editor or similar role. • Proficiency in using Adobe Premiere Pro. • Strong working knowledge of Apple MacBooks. • Knowledge of video editing best practices and production flow. • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail. • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. • A creative and technical mindset to handle editing challenges. Nice to Have: • Working knowledge of Adobe After Effects. • Experience editing content for live events or conferences.
