PR Consultant | Leadership Positioning + Media Strategy Project-Based | Story-Led | Remote-Friendly Brand Heist is looking for a sharp, strategic PR consultant to support a leadership visibility campaign for a founder in the private equity and advisory space. This is a 30–60 day contract focused on elevating thought leadership, securing media visibility, and driving long-term brand awareness through public relations and content amplification. What You'll Do: Collaborate with our internal team to shape a compelling narrative arc for the founder’s public voice Source and vet podcast and speaking opportunities aligned with audience and brand voice Draft and pitch media angles, thought leadership topics, and speaker bios to relevant outlets Develop a working media kit and refine it over time with new content and appearances Help us build a consistent, long-term media pipeline rooted in clarity, resonance, and trust You’re Great At: Turning nuanced expertise into clear, compelling talking points Building press relationships and sniffing out the right platforms for the right message Helping founders feel like their best selves on paper and in public Operating independently, but collaborating closely Elevating not just a person—but a purpose-driven business behind them You Have: 3+ years in B2B or leadership-focused PR, communications, or media strategy (agency or founder-led experience a plus) A smart, selective approach to media—not just quantity, but quality A track record of placing execs on podcast, press, panels or speaking opportunities Excellent written and verbal communication skills Comfortable working directly with founders/C-level executives Comfortable working asynchronously and managing deadlines via project tools Bonus: experience PR in private equity, leadership development, or executive coaching Why This Role: You’ll help us amplify a smart, grounded leader who’s ready to speak up and stand out.
