Opportunity: QuickBooks Online Consultant for European Operations Setup Duration: Start Date: 3rd week of April (estimated) - Ongoing (until project completion); Hours only as needed during this time Company: Plannernet Overview: Plannernet is seeking a skilled and experienced QuickBooks Online consultant to help us transition our existing QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise account online and set it up to handle invoicing and billing in Euro. To support our expanding European operations, we need to set up a separate QuickBooks file for our European business activities. This role will involve not just the setup of this new file but also strategic consultation on managing international finances, with a focus on helping us build a robust framework for future growth in Europe and potentially other regions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing cross-border transactions and will be responsible for configuring our QuickBooks system to accommodate various currencies and payment methods. This role requires strong attention to detail, expertise in financial software integration, and the ability to work well with our CEO/CFO. Key Responsibilities: -Set up a new QuickBooks Online file specifically for European operations. -Migrate existing data into the new QuickBooks file. -Enable invoicing and billing in Euro for customers who wish to be invoiced in that currency. -Consult on best practices for international finance operations, including multi-currency management and financial reporting. -Help set customers up by currency, ensuring accurate billing and collection in Euro. -Provide guidance on long-term financial strategies for expanding into the European market and potentially other regions. -Serve as a key resource for the company throughout the setup process and potentially beyond. Desired Qualifications: -Proven experience with QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise and Quickbooks Online, especially in setting up and managing multi-currency operations. -Expertise in international finance and cross-border operations, particularly in Europe. -Strong understanding of invoicing, billing, and accounting practices in different currencies. -Ability to provide long-term support and guidance as Plannernet expands into international markets. -Excellent Customer Service and Attention-to-Detail - Ability to have some meetings between 9am-5pm EST Why Support Us: This project is a crucial step in our company's international growth, and if the collaboration goes well, there will be opportunities for long-term engagement.
