We are seeking an experienced Project Management Director who will build and lead the operational backbone of our production process. This role is about more than just overseeing timelines — you’ll design and implement the systems that keep our projects moving smoothly, and lead the Project Managers who carry them out day to day. You'll work directly with leadership to create our playbook for how projects run from start to finish, including client onboarding, task delegation, communication flow, and final delivery. You’ll manage a small team of Project Managers, guide them through active projects, and step in to resolve challenges before they impact production. Your focus will be to make sure every client experiences a smooth, organized, and enjoyable process while making internal workflows efficient and scalable as we grow. Strong performance in this role can lead to expanded leadership responsibilities and performance-based bonuses as we continue to scale the company. What You’ll Lead: Build and maintain our complete project management system, including workflows, SOPs, templates, and clear processes for each stage of production. Set up and maintain efficient project boards and task flows inside ClickUp. Hire, train, and lead our Project Manager team. Oversee multiple video projects at once, helping Project Managers coordinate timelines, deliverables, and resources. Maintain clear and professional communication between Project Managers, internal teams, and clients. Translate creative direction and client needs into actionable tasks and deliverables. Spot potential issues early and resolve them before they become problems. Align with the Production Coordinator on crew assignments, schedules, and approvals. Continuously document processes and improve systems to support team growth and scalability. What We’re Looking For: At least 3 years of experience in project management, ideally in a creative agency or video production environment. Proven ability to build or improve project management systems. Experience leading teams and creating structure in fast-paced, remote environments. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with project management tools (ClickUp preferred), plus familiarity with tools like Frame.io and Google Workspace. Comfortable managing multiple projects and deadlines at once. Experience with creative workflows, especially in video production, is a strong advantage. Experience working with contractors and distributed teams is a plus.
