We are a supplement startup preparing to launch our first product and are seeking an experienced regulatory consultant or legal professional familiar with DSHEA (Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act) and FDA labeling guidelines. Our goal is to ensure that all aspects of our product labeling and marketing materials are fully compliant and that we’re protected from potential regulatory or legal issues in the future. What We Need Help With: Reviewing our product label copy (front, back, supplement facts, directions, claims, disclaimers) Advising on what we can and cannot say on the label or in marketing materials Providing guidance on required elements (e.g. disclaimers, serving info, FDA language, structure/function claims) Letting us know of any additional steps we should take to remain compliant and legally protected as we grow Ideal Candidate Has: Deep knowledge of DSHEA, FDA supplement regulations, and structure/function claim limitations Experience working with startups or supplement companies Ability to clearly explain regulatory boundaries and best practices Bonus: Familiarity with cGMP, liability disclaimers, or general supplement business compliance If you’ve helped brands navigate supplement labeling, we’d love to hear from you.
