Case Manager for Government Contracting Certifications

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Case Manager to oversee certification submissions and ensure regulatory compliance for businesses pursuing government contracts. This fully remote role involves preparing, reviewing, and submitting federal and state certification applications, maintaining compliance documentation, and communicating with agencies to resolve any issues. Your work will directly help small businesses gain access to federal contracting opportunities. Key Responsibilities: • Research and identify applicable government contracting certifications (e.g., SAM.gov registration, SBA 8(a), HUBZone, WOSB, SDVOSB, GSA Schedules). • Prepare, review, and submit certification applications with accuracy and completeness. • Track application progress, manage renewal deadlines, and ensure all certifications remain active. • Communicate with federal and state agencies to follow up on submissions and resolve application issues. • Gather and organize required documentation, including business formation records, tax filings, and financial statements. • Monitor regulatory changes and certification requirements; communicate updates to relevant stakeholders. • Collaborate with internal teams (business development, and leadership) to support certification processes. • Provide guidance to leadership on the value of certifications and emerging opportunities. Qualifications: • 1+ years of experience in government contracting, procurement, or compliance management (preferred). • Familiarity with federal certification processes including SBA 8(a), SDVOSB, HUBZone, WOSB, and GSA Schedules. • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines and projects simultaneously. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience working with federal agencies such as the SBA, GSA, or DLA. • Knowledge of certification platforms such as SAM.gov, SBA Certify, and GSA eOffer/eMod. • Project management experience related to compliance, documentation, or government submissions.
