We are researchers with the Multimodal team at Ai2, a non-profit AI research institute. Our team is responsible for groundbreaking work such as Objaverse, Molmo and more. We are looking to hire an experienced, creative, and accomplished web developer with several years of experience in Google Chrome Extension. Your task will be to either take our current extension and make it more robust OR rewrite the extension in a more robust manner to enable a fast and frictionless user experience. This project will require that you tackle some of following technical problems: - Develop a robust way of recording and capturing screenshots all events we're interested in (click, scroll, type, goto, tab-switched, etc.), regardless of user's speed - Confirm that screenshots align with events and that recorded trajectories are complete - Fix existing bugs and unblock the project – such as solving the issue with users switching between app browser and session browser Ultimately, your work will support an open-source intelligent web assistant development and research project with the goal of aiding and accelerating science.
