We are seeking a Senior Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Expert who specializes in both cloud-native development and cloud security architecture. This individual will play a key role in designing, developing, securing, and optimizing cloud applications and infrastructure using Google Cloud services. The ideal candidate has deep experience in GCP development frameworks, DevSecOps, and building secure, scalable environments for enterprise applications. Key Responsibilities Design and develop scalable and secure cloud-native applications using GCP services (App Engine, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, etc.). Implement and maintain security best practices across GCP infrastructure including IAM, VPC, service perimeters, and compliance frameworks. Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Cloud Build, Terraform, and GitHub Actions. Architect and enforce security posture using GCP-native tools like Security Command Center, Forseti, and Chronicle. Lead threat modeling, vulnerability assessments, and security audits for GCP workloads. Automate policy enforcement, alerting, and remediation using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and policy-as-code. Collaborate cross-functionally with DevOps, engineering, and compliance teams to ensure secure-by-design cloud solutions. Stay up-to-date with GCP security offerings, industry best practices, and evolving threats. Required Qualifications 7+ years of cloud engineering experience with 4+ years specializing in Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Deep hands-on experience with GCP services including Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud SQL, Pub/Sub, BigQuery, and Cloud Armor. Strong expertise in GCP IAM, organizational policies, VPC architecture, and workload identity federation. Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform required), CI/CD, and automation. Experience integrating security into CI/CD pipelines (DevSecOps). Solid scripting skills (Python, Bash, or Go). Strong understanding of modern security frameworks such as NIST, CIS Benchmarks, and ISO 27001. Familiarity with container security, data encryption, and zero trust architecture. GCP certifications such as Professional Cloud Architect or Professional Cloud Security Engineer preferred. Nice to Have Experience with Chronicle SIEM or Security Command Center Premium. Knowledge of compliance standards like HIPAA, SOC 2, and GDPR in cloud environments. Background in multi-cloud (AWS or Azure) is a plus. Why Join Us?
