Project Overview: We are launching Rise Suspension, a new aftermarket brand for electric trucks. We need a CAD designer to create manufacturing-ready files for our first product: a 2” and 3” lift kit for the Slate Truck/SUV. ⸻ Scope: • Design front strut spacers and rear spring spacers based on provided specs. • Deliver 3D CAD models (STEP or IGES) and 2D technical drawings (with dimensions and tolerances). • Files must be ready for CNC aluminum machining (6061-T6 billet). • Bolt patterns must match factory strut towers. ⸻ Requirements: • Experience designing automotive suspension components (lift kits, brackets, spacers preferred). • Knowledge of CNC machining best practices. • Attention to fitment precision (important for bolt-on installation). • Fast, clear communication. ⸻ Deliverables: • 3D CAD (STEP or SolidWorks) • 2D DWG or PDF blueprints • Notes on tolerances and material specs ⸻ Timeline: • Immediate start • First drafts needed in 7–10 days ⸻ Budget: • Fixed price project preferred • Please include sample work and pricing with your proposal ⸻ How to Stand Out: • Show past automotive/suspension designs if possible • Mention if you can provide light FEA (Finite Element Analysis) verification (bonus, not required)
