Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead to oversee our existing development team, manage software enhancements, and support user acceptance testing (UAT). This role includes project management responsibilities and offers the opportunity to grow into a long-term partnership, potentially leading to a full-time position. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee and coordinate activities of our offshore development team (2 developers). - Conduct code reviews, maintain software quality standards, and ensure adherence to timelines. - Utilize Asana for effective project management and task delegation. - Perform and manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure robust software performance. - Address and troubleshoot software issues, manage bug fixes, and oversee deployment cycles. - Collaborate closely with the CEO and other stakeholders to ensure technical alignment with business goals. - Provide input and recommendations for future software improvements and scalability. Tech Stack: -Front-end: Angular - Back-end: Node.js, Express.js - Database: PostgreSQL - Infrastructure: AWS - Version Control: GitHub - Scripting: Python (knowledge of data scraping is beneficial) - Third-party Integrations: Google APIs, Apple Authentication, Stripe Qualifications: - Minimum of 4 years of experience in software development, particularly with the stack mentioned above. - Demonstrable experience managing or leading a small technical team. - Strong proficiency with AWS and GitHub. - Solid experience with software testing methodologies, especially UAT. - Excellent communication skills, capable of clearly translating technical details to non-technical stakeholders. - Prior experience in a startup or lean team environment is highly beneficial
